Hong Kong would be a great market because it's the gateway into China and being high tech people are willing to try new technology and invest in it more than most places.  

I like that the dev is open about his identity and based in Hong Kong.  If Digibyte can succeed in a relatively small market like HK it would be a great starting point.

Hi there, I looked around for this cryptocurrency, found it interesting somewhat.
But then I stumbled into this video.
I find it interesting, but I noticed some problem with the whole thing, doesn't look convincing and professional to me.
I am a graphic and communication expert, so here are my hints:
1) first of all the name. DIGIBYTE. What does that stand for? A byte is already digital, it can't be analogic. So digibyte essentially means nothing. Why not DigiCoin? Just to be original? Bad choice. DigiCoin would have been so much better. Even DCoin would have been better. I know it's difficult now to change the name, but you should, in my opinion.
2) in general all the graphics looks unprofessional. Logos here and there look quite bad. I am a graphic, so I know what I'm talking about. The D shape is ok, but the blue color is banal. I'd choose another shade of blue, more hi-tech inspiring.

Can you give an example of a fiat coin that sounds like money? If i'll take baht, rupee, rand, yuan, yen, dollar, euro... don't sound as money to me neither. Only the crypto's did glue the word coin to their brew.

Speaking about Digibyte network - in Digiexplorer there are many transactions of value less than 1 USD.
Do we know what typically are those transactions?
Real people sending DGB to each other? People sending themselves from one wallet to other? Something else?

I haven't actually mined anything yet. Where do I get this USB miner? I understand that it will be unprofitable for me to mine but I could still try it for fun.
