i am confident that there will be the same hype culture prior to the next citi bank event when really it is not relevant but speculative traders make up a large portion of bag holders. I wonder if hypothetically we drop below 1000 or 800 or even 500, prior to next month if it is wise to capitilize on the low prices and re purchase to profit on the upswing just like everyone else or just wait it out. and since this hype activity obviously plays a major role in affecting DGB, if they lose this silly contest again will there be enough confidence lost to impact the long termers? how bad a beating can the digi take
Are you talking about the overall prize for the Citi challenge? As much as I hope they can pull something out of the bag, to win one of just 4 or 5? prizes (let alone the main prize) out of a total of 1,000 entrants would be a bit of a moon shot. Personally, I'd be happy if they establish some kind of working relationship with one of the partner companies, and frankly over the moon if they managed to secure a prize. The price today was driven by pure speculation (as predicted).
Not that token value is everything, but the price on DigiByte has always bounced back, and that's mainly thanks to the tireless Dev team who come up with interesting and innovative ways to promote the technology. I'm possibly one of the few (or maybe not) early holders who actively trades rather than just holding and follow the very traditional policy of buying in stages on the way down, selling in stages on the way up. It doesn't get you rich quick, but over time you build up a nice hoard.
