Take witness to the prowess and undeniable speed of UTC's transaction times. You are witnessing a transaction being sent from the Netherlands to New York to Australia and back to the Netherlands in an astounding 2:31, confirmed. This is revolutionary and perhaps the greatest asset of any currency, digital or not. Do not underestimate the value being demonstrated here. Welcome to the future.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y898MEfaKtM&feature=youtu.be This is an excellent demo that will convince people who know what this is about.
I wouldn't like to kill your enthusiasm but to see what's happening you need to zoom the video to 1000+ pix, which obviously most users will not do.
Moreover the purpose of the video is not explained at the very beginning, which will make lots of people wonder what this is about (don't forget we have a population of people who never were exposed to cryptos and for which transfers and speed of transactions means nothing).
But overall an excellent draft of what to expect in a more mature version.
therefore:
1- can you redo the video in a format that will make it visible on a smart phone? -Possibly changing the screen layout using dynamic zooms.
an idea: you show a world map/globe a la google earth from which when zooming on a city you get the wallet and proceed with the transaction, then go to the other city, etc. until the end. Overlay the stopwatch at a fixed position on the screen and this will do it.
Maybe you could compare with bitcoin and/litecoin in the process to really show the difference (so this part should not be realtime, just show stopwatches at begining-end of tx and this would be enough, right?)
2- can you put up a short explanation at the beginning and a conclusion in the end?
3- using empty wallets might be better, for some people might feel like the 100k+ ones are going to intimidate them. Seeing a whale is not always very pleasing, no matter what his intentions are.
