Why would you buy this given the current state of the Bitcoin market/economy?
what state is that? btc coins have been low before, there is also nothing wrong with bitcoins being low. Bitcoins might have been priced way too high in the first place.

This might be nice as an investment if there was a good indicator that your investment would give you any kind of return. I don't see good reason to believe this right now.
and that is your opinion, which is not shared by a very very very large ammount of people, including those of us who have made great profits investing in bitcoins. How about spread some fud in the speculation channel and not in someones thread who is actually trying to do something good for the community and actually produced something unique. Heck even if BTC was dying, i would buy one of these to keep. Plus they are great for promoting bitcoins which could change the market arround but you dont want to hear about that do you.
These would also be nice if I could take them and walk into a store and give them to a merchant to purchase goods. This just isn't possible unless you live around the corner from Meze Grill.
My conclusion: This is novel, awesome looking, and way before it's time, but in this case being 'way before it's time' is not in the interest of the consumer.

Look if you dont want one, dont buy one, I dont see why you had to come up with all this FUD and opinionated crap. Do you actually see any problem with the coin that has to do with the coin and not BTC? anything worth actually complaining about besides "OMG THIS IS SO F'N STUPID BTC IS ABOUT TO DIE!!!" If everyone had attitudes like yours, we might as well all give up, cause BTC wouldnt go anywhere.
Like i said if you dont like it, dont buy one, if you want to complain bitcoin is dying, go do that in speculation, personally i think it is a great time to buy BTC and an even better time to buy and give out these coins. I dont think i would give these things out as promotional items if BTC was trading at $50 a coin.
Great job cassius and ignore the fear spreading fud'rs. It really takes a special person to go into someones tread trying to sell something and then rather complain about the product itself, complain about the state of the BTC market.
