At the time it was a lot more profitable to mine scrypt and sell for DRK, unless your electricity was super expensive.

The top 100 rich list is similar to other coins. Which honestly doesn't mean much. If you're investing now and hoping to catch up to early adopters, you'll have to spend $$. Having said that, there's a long way up for DRK to go from here.

For the short term ... Some who did mine then and held their coins are able to make a nice profit now. (I remember how many came by saying "that coin is unprofitable"  )

I think I first started mining toward the end of February...I think.  I was getting 15-20/day with a measly 2.8MH/s.
