Actually I don't think it will cause any pump, but rather discourage mining, and cause less interest in the coin, as it is turning into a closed system, where only real profits will be made by big holders. IMO.

20% is excessive. My interest has waned. Pigs get slaughtered.

As camosoul pointed out, block reward is already as low as it's going to get. The idea with going to 20% is to create stronger incentive to own MNs, take more coins out of circulation and drive the price up, which will benefit miners as well.

Good job my friend. My strategy is to simply not look at the price for 3 months and then to see what my coins are worth. Always going to be a profit with DarkCoin and prevents heart attacks.

It is very hard to keep a constructive dialog when we have these price swings, but lets make an effort. In summary:

The most important piece of news is that we will not need any more forks to complete Darksend, masternode payments. THIS IS HUGE.
Darkcoin resilience to dumps proves to be unprecedented yet again. Newcomers should learn there are strong fundamentals in this coin.
The Dev team will expand and the Community Team is organizing non development chores.
Weak hands got replaced with stronger hands and we go on with a more solid group of holders.
Buy in quick before is too late, this was a great opportunity and I hope some good people took advantage and joined the community.

Damn Im too greedy to set a lot of buy order lower than 0.013 because the sell order was so thin.
After Evan's post the panic buy is coming in and I missed the chance to get more cheap DRKs.
