    This might be a security feature.

    Cryptsy triple the number of deposits required for new unverified customers.  I think my first BTC deposit took 18 confirmations to clear.  Maybe this exchange has a similar draconian policy for new users.  If so, I assume they lift the restriction once they have established that you're kosher.

    Without some central exchange as it's now the case ?

    Maybe use the MNs in the process as place to match orders for specific pairs ?

    Something similar to OpenBazaar but for Crypto pairs.

    Most blockchain based technology (not just currency) has the ability to have that functionality.  Bitcoin itself included.

    I think Andreas Antonopoulos mentioned how it would work for most blockchain based coins in his presentation to a Canadian Senate Committee.

    Watched this yesterday and it made me remember why we are all here in the first place.  Sure, a lot of people focus on the investment aspect of Bitcoin/cryptos but in reality, its the blockchain technology that has the ability to change the world.  Hearing him speak of all the different ways we can use blockchain technology was awesome and I agree, the senators were very impressed at what he had to say.

    The acceptance and willingness to listen by the Canadian senators made me proud to be Canadian and the responses and dialect from Andreas made me proud to be part of this giant crypto experiment.  As he stated, it's as if we are in on the ground floor of the Internet, back in the early 1990s.

    The UK stance has been interesting too in its approach to BTC but in the opposite way.

    The Bank of England and HMRC (our IRS) has basically said that it is an emerging technology with a tiny market cap at the moment and that rather than advise parliament to legislate now, they'd rather wait and see how the technology develops and is used to ensure that any necessary legislation is relevant and practical.

As there will be too many investors so its a good opportunity for darkcoin ..looking on the ultracoin thread it looks like its very important for them as they will also participate on the event and they have a promoting table there!     we are in touch with a couple of people but
    the more the better as nothing is confirmed.
    The idea is to outsource a couple of projects so Evan can concentrate on his development and does

    I need to watch that.

    I've got a basic working p2peer market that uses a DHT, but security is a hard problem (for me, I'm a noddy) with my model - I can think of a dozen ways a bad peer could bugger things up, kind of like bad torrent files etc. Evan solved this problem (or a similar one anyway) largely economically with the MN network, I'm still trying to come up with something viable...  Undecided

    And if the new code is valuable it will be added to the next version.

    I truly hope we will soon have additional core devs, this will push darkcoin to the next level.
    The whole point of going open source was to attract more core devs, that's ultimately what's needed to build confidence.
