OMG, as I finished typing this post I have it all back suddenly.  This guy is good.....  

It's only possible to lose money if your wallet gets corrupted and you don't have a recent backup.

Don't make backups with the client running. Either go to file and make a backup that way or close the client and copy the wallet.dat file from the data folder to your saved location. You do not need to save the whole roaming folder--the only important file is your wallet.dat. Everything else can be repopulated via download. Saving config files would also be recommended although these don't change unless you change them.

Not to my knowledge... you have to dump each address individually for the private key.
