Is there any chance the 420usd was just having problems with paypal or something and potcoin was just trying to hype a new exchange on the scene?

Guys... don't be DOPES.  Did you REALLY think someone was going to pay you USD 10 - 20x the actual market value for your coin?   While I empathize with everyone who got taken you need to consider it a tuition payment to the school of hard knocks.    I loved the tweet about the 420 rebate on transactions over 5000 coins, a typical but effective appeal to greed to short circuit common sense.   Wise up and be more careful about who you trust in the future.
