ETC has no chance to overtake ETH in near future the real support is still with this project. Even ETH network is becoming problematic due to high traffic than high transaction fee is looking terrible but I don't think ETC could take advantage of these issues. There are so many other projects who will become more stronger in future.
ETC will be going die ASAP after sharding will be implemented. The only problem in ethereum network is the scalability that can be fixed through implementing Off or On chain scaling solution.

That has nothing to do with ethereum. If they (bancor) are so stupid and/or unethical to give an address the privileges to literally steal funds from their smart contract but call themselves "decentralized", either they are in bad faith or they don't really get what that word really means. They are not a DEX at all and anyone who had their funds in their smart contract should have learnt a lesson.
There's many other reasons why the price of ETH is dropping, in particular the moot point it seems to have reached with a 1TB+ ledger and transactions which are slow and expensive as much as bitcoin, on top of which no viable scalability solution will be ready until several months ahead, which made me state holding ETH without having the same amount of ETC might not be safe anymore.
