Anyone have any experience creating their own cryptocurrency (tokens) using the Ethereum platform? We are considering creating a cryptocurrency tied to our IOS app in development (see: https://bt.irlbtc.com/view/1319773.0) and are looking for a simple way to do so.

I would, but I don't want to be that guy 4yrs down the line when people bring up this post and say...."here's the guy that sent someone $450 of ETH just for the heck of it"   

What's so funny about my last posts? I had 1 Bitcoin that I got as a present a year ago and I decided to sell it since I needed money badly. I don't get it? Could you enlighten me please what's so wrong about that?

About my request for 1 Eth, I don't have any crypto at the moment but I would like to invest some in the near future when I will be more financialy solvent. Until then, I am downloading and testing different platforms. For the most of the coins out there, there is a faucet except for Ethereum. For the ones that there are no faucets, asking community for a dollar worth of their coins was never a problem. I got sent NXT by their community and BTS, etc.. Now I thought that there will be the same thing with Ethereum community.

I hope I was not wrong. So would someone be kind enough to send me that one Eth, since I can't even register an account in Mist without having no coins.
