While it's certainly a good read, I have been surprised to see that it talks about Google autonomous cars, IBM's Watson and many other technological innovations familiar to readers of WIRED etc., but fails to mention digital currencies at all. Weird for a 2014 book on sweeping technological transformations, isn't it?
