If you had the old wallet, delete everything but wallet.dat and the .conf file.

You also need to get rid of the gen=1 (the thing that was mining in the wallet). I just have the addnodes in my conf file.

After that, it worked for me.

After searching max coin git hub I finally come across the qt. like I said I will not click peoples links on this forum and depend on THE DEV TEAM TO MAKE SHIT CLEAR AND SIMPLE! Im mining for 1.5 hours, and got 1 maxcoin, hashrate 130Mhs

my cgminer is reading around 300~ Mhs

I've gotten around ~0.5 max in the last 1.5 hours
