Yes, you’re quite right. The issue with this past update is that the Merit.txt file (the one that the forum releases every Friday, and that includes all sMerit TXs) has data running up until 2023-08-11 02:38:43, whilst the profile data was scraped on the 16/08/2023.

Normally I scrape the profile data as close as possible to Fridays, to be as near in sync as possible with the merit.txt file, but I couldn’t launch it this week until five days later than usual, causing a larger than normal discrepancy between the profile’s Merit counter and the sum of the Merits obtained as a result of the cumulative weekly merit.txt files. Since you received quite a bunch of Merits between the two dates, the algorithm that tries to determine the initial rank is thrown of its tracks.

Well, looking at the top numbers, it would be nice the next number being 422.

Then starting again from scratch would be like paragliding from the Everest back to the base camp.

The important thing anyway that this number is not fabricated. It’s a matter of other users, not me…
I refuse to post shitty content not to be awarded merit!

I’ve actually never exported data from these charts, so I’m not sure it it’s a different behaviour now to how it was before, or else.

In any case, there seem to be two options:

a)   Export it as a Cross-tab, where the last column provides the current received Merit values for the most recent day each column corresponds to a single day, being the data presented in a cumulative fashion.

b)   Force the focus on the item that you want to export the data from. For example, if you want to export all the data from the graph, what I did click on a data point in any of the lines (it delimits the selection to that line), and then click it again to deselect the prior selection. After doing so, the page’s focus will be on the desired graph, and the Data option becomes available as an export option.
