Is aurora coin really dead ? I have a few of them.. Doesn't have a lot of value. Should I get rid of it ?

So to answer your question, not dead yet.

The auroracoin blockchain is frozen at 10570. Also the network hashrate is frozen at 7.36 GH/s.

EDIT2: oh wow, and due to the lower difficulty the pool I mine in (hamsterpool) hops on the coin with 2GH/s (it didn't mine the coin before, I was the only one mining it)

I'm working on updating Auroracoin from the current core to the latest bitcoin core with a better difficulty retargeting implemented. That should take care of these kind of problems.
