karmacoin developers stole litecoin code and trying to pass it off like some new idea. This coin has no features what so ever, so why invest in it over another coin? The developers of coins like this hope to take advantage of blind investors who aren't tech savvy and are considered 'newbies' to cryptocurrencies. One they get enough of you to invest with exaggerated forecasts they will dump the coins, all of them and you will lose 99% of your investment. Seen it happen to others over and over.
Almost all of the people who are hyping this coin are early adopters trying to get people with real jobs to put their real money into this scam so they can steal it. Look for a coin with innovation, one that has strengthened the known weaknesses of other crypto, that's where the investment is. Don't listen to any of the scammers saying this coin will make you money, it will make them money once you put your real money into it.
Hahaha.. ok now go paste this in every other forum for every other coin made since BTC came out. None of them are significantly different. Even UTC has an abundance of references to BTC in their code.
Right now the value of any coin isn't in the innovation of their codebase. That really doesn't matter because no one is investing for that. What does matter right now is managing to gather a culture of support and innovation. Getting people to put the coin to good use and integrate it with the things that they use. Finding uses for a coin and getting people to use it are what drives the value right now.
Pure speculative coins have dropped 1/2 their value in the last 2 monthes. A pure clone that found real world use and a cultural following like DOGE has gained value in that same time. Not because of technical innovation of the code, but because they built a network of people that used their coin.
Yes if you over invest in any of these coins you'll lose your shirt. Then again if you're investing money you cant afford to lose, you deserve just that.
