Mne tokens are credited to the address of this wallet, but there is no possibility to withdraw from there.Will it be possible to transfer my MNE1 from that address to a new one for example MEW?

We are planning to start the free Minereum V2 Genesis Addresses distribution soon.

It will work the same way as when we first launched minereum back in 2017. Back then 4000+ addresses were distributed for free for a period of 24 hours. Everyone will be able to claim as many addresses as they want like in 2017.

The technical details of the Genesis Addresses for the minereum V2 distribution will be the same, meaning:

Total Amount of coins per Genesis Address: 32,000 MNE
Total amount of coins generated per ethereum block: 0.00032 MNE
Total of blocks until all coins mined: 100,000,000 (~50 years)
Total amount of coins generated per day per address: 1.84 MNE (Taking into account 5760 ethereum blocks per day)

The only question we have is for how long should we run the free distribution phase.

To help us make up our minds we decided to ask the community.

- WARNING: Only submit addresses you have control. DO NOT submit addresses from exchanges, you will lose your coins
- The collection of Genesis Addresses will be active until a to be defined date
- You can claim as many addresses as you want, they are free (like in 2017 when minereum was launched)
- Genesis Addresses Specs:

Here is what is plan for Minereum V2

1. For the new launch, everyone will be able to create new Genesis Addresses
2. A snapshop of minereum will be created at a given date and all balances will be moved to minereum v2 (including exchanges)
3. The old Genesis Addresses from minereum 1.0 will be transfered to minereum V2
(The total supply will be MNE1 Supply + MNE2 Supply)
4. Genesis Addresses holders will be able to put the Addresses for sale in exchange for ETH
5. It will be possible to transfer Genesis Addresses into other addresses
6. A development of a new web3 website to manage Genesis Addresses (to be used with metamask)
7. A new feature that will allow users to create new Self-Mining Addresses if they own a certain amount of coins
(when this feature is used, the circulating supply will be reduced) (cancelled)
8. A new feature that will allow users to destroy Genesis Addresses in exchange for a small % of the balance (cancelled)

Note: Due to the high number of claims, we will introduce the requirement of a small fee of ETH in order to activate the claimed Genesis Addresses. This can be done by the owner of the Genesis Address in any point of time in the future after minereum V2 is launched. There is some fundamental difference between minereum 1.0 and minereum V2.

Minereum V2 will allow Genesis Address Holders to sell them. In theory a Genesis Address that is spent will have less value than a Genesis Address that is not spent, therefore that should be an incentive for owners not to sell their coins. Another aspect is that with V2 we will introduce a new feature that will allow owners to destroy their Genesis Addresses in exchange for a % of the balance.

For example if you choose to destroy one of your addresses you will get for example 100 MNE and the remaining 31,900 MNE that were supposed to be self mined for 50 years will be destroyed. So instead of waiting 50 days to get those 100 MNE you will be able to do it immediately and in exchange you are reducing the future circulating supply of minereum.

One other important point:

When a Genesis Address is set for sale, the coins cannot be transferred

That is correct. However the safer option is to have the coin outside of exchanges.
