Its really hard to keep up with the top 10-15 merit givers... I don't really understand how they have the energy to give out so much merit. It takes a lot of stamina, keeping up electrolyte balances, and courage to get such a vast monthly volume of merits out there. In any case, I pledge to do better, and thanks Coin-1 for keeping up with the interesting forum statistics.
Yep, reading through the typical fare here, i.e., zero-effort, zero-brainpower shitposts does indeed take its toll on one's electrolytes. It probably even has an extensive effect on red blood cells as well as being a major cause of non-alcoholic wet brain. I've been an ardent supporter of the merit system since Theymos fired it like a fucking cannon into the stands of bitcointalk--plus I've been a merit source longer than I can remember. Damned if I still have the same stamina I did some years ago.
On the other hand, it looks like I've been improving over the last several months since my rank has been inching up. T'ain't where it used to be, but as for that I'll just reference the paragraph above. I never took the voluntary "job" lightly, since 1) I value this forum highly, and 2) I know precisely what it would look like if the assorted morons, cretins, scammers, and all-around fools were allowed to become high-ranked members with little talent or effort--especially now that AI is obviously being used....and don't even get me started on that, lest my next bloodwork report give my own doctor a heart attack.
Thank you as always for the data, Coin-1.
