Ixian has a 2BN IXI pre mine. We haven't used any of it yet, and we can't say for sure when or if we will.

So this is just what we already have, i.e. a coin that can be used for payments. We already have enough payment systems and I dont think coins that only serve the purpose of payment system will be of much use.

We are performing a stress test on Ixian network next week.

Prior to that we will release Ixian DLT v0.7.0 and we advise all node operators to update their Ixian DLT. This will eliminate the chance of forking from the network.
The aim of the stress test is see how the network behaves with an increase of transactions per second.

The current cap is set at 66,6 TPS, we will test a 10x increase. If all tests are successful, we will establish the new cap that will stand at 666TPS in the next weeks.

Hello @stratumex,

Our attention was drawn to this fact. Apparently there was an issue with the network, which caused some nodes to split, apparently nodes run by Vitex and Txbit were among those. We are preparing an update for Ixian DLT v0.7.0, which will effectively eliminate issues such as this. We believe that it will be ready by Monday. We apologize for any inconvenience with this!

But at the same time, these nodes only require a restart and resync. Txbit has already done so, and their node is re-syncing. It should be online sometime tomorrow.

A special announcement for our community.

We apologize for the delay with our planned stress test of the Ixian network. We encountered some unexpected technical issues which demanded our full attention. This is why the stress test was delayed.

We are hastily preparing the Ixian DLT node v0.7.0 update, which will be released this week and proceed with the stress test next week.

The goal for the test remains the same – 666 TPS.
