What's the etiquette here, should I first thank the Academy, or my family, or the Supreme Leader for instituting the merit system in the first place, and making the Sun shine on the forum every day?
I haven't read all the latest drama yet so for all I know I might be already removed from DT, Legendary ranks, post reporters, and every other position of perceived power. When I click the Post button I might find that I've already been banned. Because someone here told me yesterday that this will happen and I trust the intertubes. But winning this membership in Foxpup's exclusive club and the awesome prize (more on that later) has made it all worth it, particularly so because I excluded myself from running
early on due to aversion to dancing. Therefore the extent of my acceptance dance is this:
Nevertheless, I'm tremendously honored and I intend to make the best use of this new position of power. Which I assume means crushing every debate by throwing around my new title and generally acting like more of an asshole than I already was. I'm also quite sure - although I haven't tried it yet - that I can ban plagiarists and other people I don't like with merely a stony stare of a Vulpine Order of Merit member, which will come in really handy. I'm gonna try that on my kids, that what they're for - mowing the lawn and medical experiments (o_e_l_e_o, that's not an invitation to lecture me on human medical experimentation). Speaking of kids, I'm gonna need to cut my speech short because my fingers still hurt from all the papercuts I suffered yesterday helping Santa with gift-wrapping.
Oh and the prize... I'm gonna take the slice of Black Forest gâteau made with genuine Black Forest kirsch because it's got foreign words in it so it must be good.
