I added some extra code to reset the checkpoints if the stored one didn't match the newest hardcoded one, but it's a bit hacky. Better understanding of the ppcoin checkpointing code (including central checkpointing) is needed.
am i missing something? I don't see the extra code in your link

The extra code was for another coin... and it really is hacky... it needs to be done properly.
