They would benefit from it hugely. They probably don't want to be seen as endorsing it.
That's a interesting logic, so anyone that is accepting paypal for payments, is endorsing paypal?
That's not the logic of the masses though. At the moment they think Bitcoin is for drug dealers, child pornographers and tax evaders even though fiat is more widley abused for that sort of stuff, but they'll just keep believing the media slander,
