Really fantastic as of today but altcoins seems to be at slow and only known coins are kicking right now.
It will be preferred to have Bitcoins for me in trading than of altcoins cause of its price fluctuations, the more it goes like that, the more chances we got good profit from it.
Anyway, altcoin is just another option we have and giving trust to them might be a big risk we face.

This is what I have notice also therefore instead of trading or holding bitcoin for a long term, I invest in other currencies that has the potential to x10 in the end of the bull run.

One of the currencies that I choose aside from bitcoin is Ethereum, the bottom of Eth last time is 80$ and bitcoin is 3k$. If you are going to compare the two base on the current price right now. Eth is already 245$ and bitcoin is 7877$, if you will compare the two then you can notice that eth has x3 already while bitcoin haven't reach the x3 price yet. But still, any of them will give you a good amount of profit especially in bull run season.

Day Trading altcoin sometime can be more profitable than bitcoin because altcoin are more volatile than bitcoin. Bitcoin movement is slow as compared to that of altcoin which is very fast.

Serious discussion please.

Obviously some alts can have significantly bigger gains than bitcoin when it comes to long term and bull runs, the last bull run from 6k to 10k for example, sure bitcoin was strong, almost a 2x but some of the top alt coins did more than a 2x even 3x. However that's only long term.

Short term I don't see any reason to trade anything other than bitcoin, especially knowing how little volume some of the other coins have, even top 10 alt coins, for example stellar only has 33m volume. So my question is, what's the point of trading stellar, for example, instead of bitcoin? You know that even if you are a whale and trade a lot, you wont be moving the market as much, if you have 1m and you trade stellar, that's already huge and we all know the 33m volume is probably not even real, a lot of it from bots trading.

It's also much easier to follow bitcoin because, well, the whole market follows bitcoin. Bitcoin dictates where the market goes.

Bitcoin of course in the portfolio should be more, but you need to distribute your capital on other promising projects, for example, within two days only such a cryptocurrency as WPR gave 100% growth, the products of other startups are beginning to be used, the developers are serious about their business

Crypto trading does not have to be bitcoin, because there are many opportunities in altcoins where the level of stability is better and the price is cheaper. Even for professionals who trade every day prefer altcoin.
Unlike long-term investors who are more static in managing their money, they naturally prefer bitcoin HODL because the increase can be double the capital. This type of investor is of course very large in capital.
