Just a quick question... I noticed this user:  "bubble pop" (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1114040)

    He made this post: https://bt.irlbtc.com/view/4750303.msg43323810#msg43323810

Mining on some cell phones is as of now accessible. Not very far in the past, a few cell phones were made, considering the mining highlights and they are presently being tried. There are likewise different applications that permit bitcoin and other cryptographic money to be mined, yet as of late they have been restricted on Android and IOS. Those applications that are left in general society space don`t bring adequate benefit and are for all intents and purposes pointless.

Directly above this post, user Direwolve735 made post https://bt.irlbtc.com/view/4750303.msg43323189#msg43323189

Mining on some smartphones is already available. Not so long ago, several smartphones were created, taking into account the mining features and they are now being tested. There are also various applications that allow bitcoin and other crypto currency to be mined, but recently they have been banned on Android and IOS. Those applications that are left in the public domain don`t bring sufficient profit and are practically useless.

At first sight, these posts look nothing alike, but upon some investigation, it looks like Direwolve735's post was run trough a synonym tool... (Allmost) every word in Direwolve735's original post was replaced by a synonym... Or am i hallucinating? I collored the synonyms in equal colors, and the same words in bold.

I haven't dug trough this user's other posts, so no idear if this was a one-time thing, or if he's systematically doing this.

Here's the archive of the original thread's page: https://web.archive.org/web/20180802105308/https://bt.irlbtc.com/view/4750303.180;topicseen

Is this ban-worthy or am i just seeing things that aren't there...

I'm curious, how big are cryptos in your country? Are they still collectively referred to as bitcoin, or do news reports and local media actually dive into their merit and the difference between coins, projects, companies etc. I'm from Canada and most of the current news is wavering between reports of malware installing mining agents and the Canadian Security Exchange cracking down on ICO sales.

I am proud to say that my country Philippines slowly adapts the concept of bitcoin and blockchain. there are certain business establishments accepts bitcoin as there payment option and of course we also have exchanger here in the philippines, which is coins.ph which is running few years ago, and more than 1 million members. So happy for that, and as far as i know majority of friends knows bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Have a great day mate., looking forward that every country could accept bitcoin.

Yes, this deserves a ban. As @mdayonliner, they used article spinner. This tools are mainly used by shady SEO guys, to plagiarize content because Google loves to give link juices for unique contents. However, looks like spammers is exploiting this tools and using it here. Those spammers are really evolving as well, not only they used homographs, but now are spinning someone's post, this is still  plagiarism though. Nice catch.

You can get paid by posting here, what did you expect? ban them all but they will come back again if jr members are mostly the ones doing this then we should consider banning them from wearing any signatures.

You can check this topic too:
    https://bt.irlbtc.com/view/3962537.0
It seems that it's not enough now to change a few words in a sentence for the spammers, they need to replace (mostly) all of the words with synonyms, in order to escape the report in the copypaster topic....
We would really need a kind of AI to check the spammy posts in the forum, but I hope that the reporting badge will also help...

If we report these posts, will they be deleted and the user eventually banned? I reported a user the other day that spun an article and posted it here as his own, but I have yet to see any action against the user or the post.

I know that plagiarists are swiftly dealt with, but what about article spinners? How should we report them?

The user was unbanned since he had added the original source in his post, https://bt.irlbtc.com/view/4805466.0

As far as I know users who spun articles are also dealt swifty and permabanned, they're worse than the copy/pasters, trying to conceal. I usually report them as "text spinning" and do verify such posts using spinbot, "text spinning/verified using spinbot".

    ...
If you reported it with the report to moderator button and you have at least 300 good reports, you can check your report if it has been checked by a moderator or not. If it's unhandled, but the other reports you made after are already processed, you can see that moderators are thinking checking for things about that post.
If you just made a post in the copypaste topic, maybe mods need more time to deal with it.
