The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has amended its monetary regulations to make Bitcoin and similar virtual currencies illegal. In an announcement revealed today – it is now illegal to issue, supply or otherwise use Bitcoin because it has been designated as an illegal means of payment. The SBV notice clarified that the only officially accepted means of payment in Vietnam are checks, payment orders, payment orders, collection orders, bank cards as well as any other payment instruments approved by the State Bank. The move against cryptocurrencies follows similar bans on centralized virtual currencies, often used for gaming or gambling, as well.

You are correct that Bitcoin will be fine some time in the future. Question is, will the holders, especially those who purchased last December 2017, will be patient enough to keep on holding? Many of them are crying out loud already and are starting to get a nervous breakdown. It is unlikely that Bitcoin will touch its ATH this year as history would show. But of course, if investors were into it for long term, then I don't see any problem.

Don't panic about the current price reduction, because this usually happens in coinmarketcap. We all know that once the price drops, it will automatically rise again. It's normal for me to see this dump because this is a direct confusion from etf's refusal which will always be rejected but people don't understand CBO is the main etf we are waiting for, after that it will be agreed that everyone can expect crazy prices. Even though it may take a long time, it's not a long-term problem that we will always handle.
