thanks to all, what a video card optimally for mining this coin?
First you most likely want an nvidia card even though lolminer now allows you to minde with AMD. Now almost any 1000 series will do or even better a 2000 RTX series. 2080 are great, 2070 just got out and 2060 are coming. I use a couple of 1070s myself and they work just fine.
But that being said I would not advise going into mining right now. If I were you I would take the $$$ you want to invest in a gpu and buy genx directly with it, you'll get alot more this way.
Then again if you want to buy a card for gaming and do some mining on the side, that could make sense.
Yeah at current prices and mining difficulty, even if you have a good gpu, you're probably better off buying coins.
From a quick calculation, if your electricity costs are more than about $0.10 USD per kw, then just use your money to buy/trade for coins instead of mining.
I'm guessing the people mining now are mining at a 'loss' (and by loss, I mean they would be better off just using that money for electricity to instead buy coins), or they have free/cheap electricity.
