I'm trying to figure out if it is at all possible to utilize a distributed blockchain that restricts access to data, until a condition is met.

    Terms and definition:

Access - the ability to read the data
Restrict - data has been segmented and inaccessible
Segmentation Pool - a collection of segmented data
distributed blockchain - a decentralized database accessible to all.
data - A string of characters that has been encrypted
time interval - where incrementation is measured in block discoveries
Condition - a set time interval has passed.

    Objective

Blockchain + Segmentation Pool that work together to reconstruct segmented data once the conditions are met.

    Obstacles

Rogue Network - Taking blockchain and segmentation Pool offline modifying the code to allow for fast discovery of blocks, as to meet the conditions prematurely

    Potential solutions -

Segmentation Pool becomes accessible for input only once a minimum number of nodes are online; Allowing for fragmentary distribution of the segmented data to the network, where no single node will have all the segments and but more than one will share some their some of data for redundancy purposes.

    One possible Use case:
Two people want to pick who will win a game, but neither wants to tell the other who they picked

Both users compose a message, select a time frame they believe will be after the game takes place , send it to the network, and once the time condition is met, the network reassembles the data, and sends it back to them.
