It's not his spreadsheet, so he can't change it. It was original posted by user jambola2 here: TIL Activity does not work on precisely 2 week intervals + interval timings.

jambola2's thread explains the spreadsheet well. Essentially it is showing you the start/end times of each 14 day activity period. You can use it to work out when people will rank up (providing they make the required number of posts to gain 14 activity for each period).

In my opinion, I will clarify them into two sort of Ledgendaries:
- Airdropped Ledgendaries: ALs.
- Self-made Ledgendaries: SLs.

Who are ALs?
Who already were Ledgendaries on the day theymos implemented merit system.

Who are SLs?
Who were not Ledgendaries on that day. After that, they earned enough merits to moved up towards Ledgendary rank.
Of course, it will become much complicated in the future, when more self-made Members, Full Members, Senior Members, and Heroes move up to Ledgendary rank. They will raise some question like this:

"Oh, the whole 1000 merits I earned over years help me to become Ledgendary from Newbie, today, so is it fair if someone only earned 500 or 250 more merits to move up from Hero to Legendary can wear the same rank as mine (SL)?"
It is too complicated, right?
However, I thought that Airdropped and Self-made make sense; and they can be applied to other ranks.

It also help campaign managers to easily and quickly known who are airdropped, who are self-made.
We might have:
1) Junior Members:
- AJ.
- SJ.
2) Members:
- AM.
- SM.
3) Full Members:
- AF
- SF.
4) Senior Members:
- AS
- SS
5) Heroes:
- AH
- SH
6) Ledgendaries:
- AL
- SL

It's always complicate to discuss, and implement something will have massive effects on all forum users.
Complaints will occurs definitely, and at somewhat extent it is not completely fair for all, as our lives always been.
At first, we should have some things to differentiate them.
Next, consider about the new rank for outstandings [that what you meant, I known].

Something like which soccer clubs do with their players:
In England, or some nations, they have the term for home-grown players that nearly like the self-made forum users.
In each club, there are normal players, stars, and might be super stars.
Super stars do not always and mandatory occur in each club. They are rarely found like the TEMPs you mentioned.
