Here are some more ideas:

A facebook app/online wallet. facebook connect to create an online wallet account. Can then send coins to your facebook friends without them ever installing a wallet or signing up. This is a good open source online wallet (https://github.com/kyledrake/coinpunk). You could fork it, create a new github project and add in facebook connect to sign up which would also give you access to their friend list and allow you to post to their wall.

A new pool might be good preparation for the x11 switch. If lots of new miners come at the x11 switch we will need 2 more pools.

How do you reinstall the wallet isn't it just a .exe that runs?  Changing the port to 42000 also did nothing.  Working on getting it on another machine to see if it works.
