    Any ideas? Bitfinex stopped working with this error after running for 6 hours. Binance and Poloniex still works fine.

    I reinstalled a fresh copy of CAT, not resolved. Also tested this Bitfinex API with other softwares, this API works.

    It is ran on a VPS, so VPS time needs to match Bitfinex time?

    This problem occurred when I was using the same Bitfinex API for CAT and Coinigy. Now this API in CAT would not connect (Coinigy still can, but I have deleted this API from coinigy for several hours and problem still not fixed for CAT). Yea i know stupid of me using the same API for multiple bots/programs. But hey, Poloniex and Binance has no problem.

    Saw this from googling, it seems that this problem can only be fixed with a new API.

    and yea also changed to same timezone as Bitfinex account settings, no use.

    Hi, please double check to see if the new copy is correct. For Bitfinex and HitBTC it says user not found. and yes, I tried twice with this new copy.

    Today I try to run Cat bot and its say "error loading exchange markets. Please relogin" Could you help please. Im using my API on Binance.
    --> Got the answer by searching through the forum. Could you please pm me a new version of 5.2 please. I cant send messages to you for some 360 secs error. Its 5 AM here so Ill crash to bed after this post.

    Some quick feedback on different exchanges.

    Bitfinex
    Should have low fees if volume is several million USD a month, however it seems that their tier system is broken, I am still on the highest fee bracket with high volume.
    API also sucks, u get an IP ban if u go too fast, meaning that you can only trade a few coins at the same time.

    Poloniex
    Fee is too high in comparision. The fee can go down with high volume, but something like 30000 BTC a month is crazy. Another problem is that daily withdraw limit is only 25k USD.

    HitBTC
    Suppose to have low fees but the exchange has no volume at all. Was making 10% of Binance with same capital input.

    Bittrex
    Fee too high, might as well just use Poloniex and work on the fee tier.

    Binance
    The best exchange by far, 0.05% fee with the right settings. Great for quant trading.

    use DUST order option.
    the micro-fake orders happens when due to some rounding routines (and only on exchanges where MYTRADE Api is not available ) CAT thinks a final "micro" trade happens.

    Example

    Buy 100@X
    - Real trade BUY 99,95@X
    - Exchange delete the remaining dust 0,05 QTY Remaining

    If this action doesn't happens immediatedly there's the risk CAT could determine that 2 trades happens
    1 - 99,95
    2 - 0,05

    So the second case is a "fake" trade, but no way to solve the problem, you can only use DUST Option.

    Hi, my bot is making a statical loss by analysing the trades from Binance trade data, but the bot is showing a massive statical gain.

    Had about 800 bounces in a day on XMR/ETH and still making a loss how? I will post the data here for people to help me analyse later today.

    It's actually been over 8 weeks so I'm a liar as well.
    I'm going to take a break for a while. It's been pretty intense trying to learn all this stuff.
    Will report back one day with some good news hopefully.


    Best thing to do is trade with small amounts until yo find a strategy that works for you, read up on trading and perservere

    Thanks Starmman. I've booted up the software a couple of times since then and have had much better results - I'm made up my losses already. I just need to be more patient. This is a four year plan anyway so I don't know why I'm in such a hurry. Cheers, Mark.
