I think the 94% drop in the price in 2011 could have been the death blow for a lot of people, but the hard-core believers in the technology back then, pushed back harder and they got huge rewards in 2017. <just 6 years later> 

The thing about Bitcoin is this, it is as resilient as a badger and it is as tough as nails. As OP has pointed out in this image, Bitcoin has been on the ropes, several times before, but like Rocky it always bounce back with a vengeance. 

I just hope we do not have to wait another 6 years. 

There are just times that this bearish time would happen due to different circumstances along the way but if we strongly believe that bitcoin would recover,the we could have a peace of mind.

Thanks for this I was wondering why my image would not show. Great reminder to those who are not aware of the history of bitcoin to get used that this is not new and probably not the end but the beginning of a new cycle which by judging by the history of bitcoin itself, will bring a new all time high in the future.
