Second, if the phone is expensive, then why not get a hardware wallet which prices around the $100-$300 only?
Also I consider it not safe, because your phone will be always online so the risk is there, just saying.
People don't really take security seriously, they think that just by not typing xxxxx in their web browser makes it safe.
Most hold their coins on exchanges although those have a record of being hacked and security breached, a lot have their wallets on the same computer they use for downloading pirated content or cracks for games, a lot don't even have a password-protected wallet.
And this because most are too lazy to be bothered by having ten times to do before sending coins.
So the phone will catch on, as long as people afford it because it will be easy to use.
