2 big matches coming up. RCB vs MI and SRH vs RR. I bet on RCB and SRH in their respective matches because their improved squads seem way better while MI doesn't really seem strong and RR has a great squad as well.

Am excited to see players like Harry Brook in SRH and Michael Bracewell in RCB perform. Exciting stuff!

Yesterday's match between LSG and DC was the most entertaining after CSK vs GT. I hope we can see more of such matches in IPL. As usual, KL Rahul's performance has not yet gone up and I think he will struggle in the same manner throughout this season. Mark Wood was very impressive yesterday, he took 5 wickets but the most impressive part was when he took 2 wickets back to back. I was expecting Sarfaraz Khan to show his explosive batting same goes for Prithvi Shaw but both were a big disappointment for me. Another setback was the crappy fielding by DC.

Was the LSG vs DC match enjoyable? I don't think so. The match was completely one-sided. LSG gave a target of 194. And from the start of the innings, the performance of DC's batsmen was poor. Apart from Warner, no other batsman could stay at the crease for long. Even Warner's strike rate was only 116. But Mark Wood bowled brilliantly. He picked up 5 wickets for just 14 runs. However, more responsible batting was expected from DC's experienced batsmen.

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Rajasthan Royals match will be played in 30 minutes. Both have strong squads here. It is very difficult to predict which team will win. But we can expect to see a high score in this match.

It is impressive how the IPL keeps viewers interested with such exciting games. Although performance of KL Rahul has been a cause for concern I am confident in his capacity to recover and contribute significantly to his team. It was pleasure to watch bowler Mark Wood put up such a strong effort and pick up back to back wickets even though Prithvi Shaw and Sarfaraz Khan had a bad game they are both good players with the ability to rebound. We can only hope that the DC squad will learn from its errors and play better defence in the upcoming match. Overall, the IPL has provided excellent entertainment and I am eager to see what the rest of the season has in store.

Sunrisers Hyderabad's inability to control the big target that has been their biggest setback. Their bowlers failed to execute their strategy properly. Fazalhaq Farooqi, T Natarajan and Umran Malik got wickets but those who were supposed to be the wicket hunter they failed to take wickets like Bhuvneshwar and Adil Rashid. But I think Sunrisers Hyderabad needed to do better in batting. Chasing the target of 203, they at least needed to score above 150 but failed to do that.

Mumbai Indians is struggling with the best in their second game , they have already lost 3 wickets on 41 runs  in 8 overs
 Their main batting lineup is gone now Suryakumar Yadav is playing let's see how far can he take the runrate. 
Royal Challengers bangalore have some experienced players in batting and target less than 150 will be an easy one for them.

Replacement of Kane Williamson

Kane Williamson played for Gujarat Titans in the first match.  But he could not play that match due to injury and another Indian batsman was fielded as his replacement.

But there are fears about Kane Williamson's injury in the IPL 2023 season, he may go to the seat from this IPL. However, Steven Smith is being considered as his replacement.  Because Steven Smith scored two centuries in the Big Bash and he is in great form in T20 cricket. As no team showed interest in buying him in the last IPL auction, he took his name in the IPL auction this season.
But now if Gujarat Titans consider Steven Smith as Kane Williamson's replacement then Gujarat Titans can spend INR 2 Crores for him. But which one will Steven Smith choose as IPL commentator for Stars Sports is contracted for INR 5 crore. Which one would Steven Smith accept if such an offer were made? Two crore rupees by hard work or five crore Indian rupees as a commentator of IPL?

Mumbai Indians batted first and set a target of 171 runs in 20 overs.Mumbai Indians team batsman Tilak Varma showed an amazing performance.I initially thought Tilak Varma might complete 100 runs today.But the over ended before he could not reach 100 runs.  Had he come out to bat, he might have scored 100 runs. Scored 84 runs off 46 balls. Royal Challengers Bangalore will come out to bat shortly. I expect to enjoy a very tough game in the match.

Mumbai started their innings very badly. Mumbai's collection in the first 10 overs was just 55 runs with the loss of 4 wickets. They scored 116 runs in the next 10 overs. They batted well. Tilak Varma performed well. He played an innings of 84 runs off just 46 balls. But I don't think Mumbai will win even after giving a target of 172 runs. Because RCB's batting line-up is very strong. Bengaluru's squad has experienced batsmen like Kohli, du Plessis, Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik. Bengaluru have more chances to win.
