I can imagine that this is raising a lot of red flags regarding information privacy.
It is up to the tourist if he will agree with the terms of usage of this app.
If it's ok with him, then, by all means his info is already in their database.
And who knows, who else will use such kind of info.
Just be careful on what kind of info are you going to disclose with them.
