There's always going to be the procrastinators, the clueless, and the whiners who will come out of the woodwork to ask for special treatment in these circumstances. They have no one to blame but themselves...... But ofcourse they never do blame themselves, it's always someone elses fault.
Not exactly true. By allowing mining in the pools to continue past the 1.6mil mark, there was always going to be losers -
20% of coins generated could never be exchanged. That's a huge percentage -
1 in 5 coins could never be exchanged. The correct way to have done this would have been for the pools to shut down so that EVERYBODY could exchange their coins. This was simply a lottery.
