Unfortunately utilities is $0.22/kw i wished it wasnt so bad. My setup has about 40MH/s what i did not memtion was my rental and my salary which is pretty darn next to welfare pay. Btw im not from the states.

Any kind soul wanna sponsor me a green card. Dont mind being a fob or alien hehe
What hardware are you using? Because you should be able to mine at around 2MHash/s with six R9 280X GPU, and that would use around 1600W. Multiply that by 20 for your 40MH and you're looking at 32000W, or 32 kWh per hour. That's 768 kWh per day, and 23040 kWh per month. At a price of $0.22 per kWh you would indeed be paying more than $4500 per month. So far so good. So probably you're using R9 290/290X and getting even higher efficiency if you're only paying $4500 per month in electricity.

The thing is, 40MH mining CAI right now should pull in around 840 CAI per day, or 25200 CAI per month. At that rate, $0.18 per CAI would be break-even, and the current price of 0.00056 BTC/CAI on Coin-swap means you're making $0.252 per CAI. So really, the break-even point for CAI with your power cost would be more like 0.0004 BTC/CAI. Anything more than that is profit, and a price of 0.0015 would be pulling down almost four times as much as you're paying in power. So I wouldn't feel too bad right now, even at the current prices. Just hope that the price doesn't tank on you!
