Blockhain is a technology that is so extraordinary and has such a good function. now many sectors have recognized it as a solution to various problems. blockchain is a technology and with technology, the progress of the era can be used as a bridge to a much better era. so in my opinion blockchain is the right technology to support a much better life.

A perfect solution does not exist because people will always find ways to cheat the system regardless of the level of security they have to break. Blockchain might not be the perfect solution but as it stand now I think it is the best solution for the security of our money and identities. On the blockchain based IDs, I can only see it as a tool to verify the data, the information of in the ID can be verified on the recorded data fingerprint on the blockchain, again this ensures that the said identification data is legitimate.

Blockchain or a public distributed ledger technology can really solve a lot of existing real world problems:
1. Near real-time trading, clearing and settlement of assets (land titles, stock ownership, etc).
2. Crypto currencies for almost frictionless transfer of value to another entity/person to anywhere in the world, anytime.
3. Identity protection in the blockchain
4. Traceability of goods in the blockchain
5. Democratic voting using blockchain.

These are just some of the real world application. Cryptocurrency is just one of it's major application.

Banks and government cannot keep your ID's and personal information safe because anything can happen and they might get hacked someday and all of the information you sent or given to them be stolen by hackers if their system is breached.
