    Time is limited unlike fiat
    Time is what people already work for, they trade their time (double time, time and 1/2?) and get paid for a certain amount of time.
    Time is created by everyone equally, not a few like fiat

    Bitcoin > Gold
    Gold will be needed as a resource not currency, using gold as a currency rather than resource will lead to us to not being able to go to other solar systems.
    Bitcoin is digital and can transfer anywhere faster
    Bitcoin is global, Gold is not


    I think the best combo is time and bitcoin, not fiat and gold or fiat and bitcoin.

    Look I am not taking your precious bitcoin away, time will be traded into bitcoin, it will make the value of your coins have value, unlike FIAT which is created by a few family's, time is created by everyone and more used than bitcoin and gold today combined. Time is backed by duration, Fiat is backed by nothing. Time is created by people, those same people who are slaves to fiat will be slaves for time, but not so much slaves as they are working for themselves not another man. People go to work for time already.

    Regarding Bitcoin, Bitcoin is tied to fiat by the hodlers. These folks trade Bitcoin based on how much money it makes them as an investment. Investments are in the eye of the beholder, not in anything that is necessarily practical.

    Bitcoin as a means of trade among everyday people isn't very practical for the majority of the populace. Teenagers might have smartphones, but they often don't have computers. Older folks still don't get it with Bitcoin. So, this with the hodlers makes Bitcoin a slightly more complicated form of fiat.

    I'm not following, the basis for currency (simplified version) is already time. We are constantly reevaluating how much a person's time is worth, and they are paid based on that. There is nothing wrong with fiat for immediate payments, its just not a reliable store of wealth. It doesn't matter how much you distrust fiat as long as you are handing it off to someone else and getting something you want in exchange, the goal is just not to be the bag holder should the common suspicion here that it isn't trustworthy be correct. If you get your paycheck, pay your housing/utilities/food etc but don't hold onto fiat long term.

    I'm cool with the whole barter community, but sometimes its hard to get Amazon to accept my carrots in exchange for solar cells. On a side note, why is gold worse than fiat/btc?

    You trade timecoins for carrots or timecoins for solar cells, or vise versa sell them.

    Gold is heavy, clunky, hard to send overseas in a few seconds or even to another planet if we get that far.
    Gold is needed for computers, computers will be needed in space, if we use gold instead of bitcoin we will not get off this earth. We need gold as a resource a metal.
    You can`t travel around with gold on your cellphone like bitcoin.
    Gold can be robbed from you, bitcoin you can just not give out your password.

    You want a good store of value buy land, the house I am living in sold for $10,000 when my aunt bought it, it is now worth 1.5 million.
    Buy land and gold for store of value buy it with bitcoin or timecoins.
