Just FYI, it seems like Mintpal is having issues with deposits on some coins currently. I've heard reports of IVC and BC deposits so far, but other coins may be affected as well.

I talked to MintPal and they confirmed: "We're having issues with a few of the wallets due to the high volume today, trying to resolve them as we can."

Is something wrong? Are we not mining anything?

We're mining just fine - we haven't gotten a WC block yet, so there are no stats to update from yet. The WhiteCoin network seemed a little wacky for a little while there -- block 215 to 216 took 20 minutes, when the block time should be 1.5 minutes. We've gotten a handful of blocks since then and they're displaying in the stats.

One thing to note is that WhiteCoin blocks take 350 confirmations -- at 1.5 minutes per block, that's 525 minutes (8.75 hours) for blocks to mature. Expect to see unconfirmed coins sitting there for quite a while.

I spoke to the guys at Bittrex and asked them to add WhiteCoin.. it is now on there for trading  

You won't see any sales there for a bit though because it is only at block #323, and blocks take 350 confirmations to mature.

Yeah I assumed DDOS... someone not liking 900MH/s on their WC I'm guessing!

The provider for our hosting of our front proxy had a datacenter networking equipment failure this morning which affected ipoMiner from 5:11AM to 7:09AM Eastern time.

After the previous outage with that provider we added DNS failover, but it didn't seem to take effect this morning - we'll be investigating why and how to fix that.

For the mean time, we've now moved the proxy server to another provider. You may need to restart your miner to get the updated DNS resolution for pool.ipominer.com to get to the new server, but we'll continue to run the old one so you shouldn't have any issues unless that provider goes down again.

@ibfragalot The estimates for it were off due to a bug that I fixed now. You'll definitely earn far more than 48 coins per hour on WC right now at 6.3MH though
