If Basel refuses to play at all, this will be the case of course. But before that happens, Basel will move to some other stadium outside Switzerland (Freiburg, Strasbourg maybe) or even play both games in Frankfurt. The odds for Frankfurt to qualify should carry some good value then.


Of course there is no or little consequences for European Football, but it's a hint to what might happen in the upcoming weeks. Afaik Switzerland hasn't that huge amount of Corona cases, but they already suspend their league. I could think of a lot leagues doing the same. It's very hard to expand the leagues deep into May, because you have the upcoming Euro, so these leagues could stop with some games left to be played. Who will be the Champion then and what will the bookies do ? The rest I leave to your imagination and your will to take advantage of that money-wise

I also agree.Swiss clubs have all the power and money to play in different venues if needed.However you can’t play a game in unplayable conditions which may be risky both for the players and for the fans watching the game.I think that Europa League will continue normally without many other interruptions.

Getafe is on a great form this season being on the fourth place on La Liga but there is huge difference in the quality of the two teams.
It is an undeniable fact that Inter is going to be the qualifier from this pair and in my opinion they are going to get 2 wins in both games - away and home.

The game between Getafe and Inter is a situation of underdogs.
If Inter milan relaxes and underrates the potentials and beautiful football of the Getafe team, then they may be out of europa league.

I am eager to see the way Conte approaches the game, because Getafe is possession and high press team, with good players, While inter has ageing wingbacks, and Back line.
Time will tell; But i am rooting for Getafe to qualify to the quarter finals.

Yeah read that Getafe owner refused to travel to Italy even if his team will be considered as forfeited and i respect such behavior. I mean the safety of the team is the most important and he already asked to change the stadium but UEFA refused. Such situation should be anticipated by UEFA and the game should take place in a "safe" zone for both teams without specs obviously...

It is very frustrating for the sports fans that those games are postponed.
However, it is good that FIFA and UEFA are taking measures in order to control the public health situations.

Olympiacos vs Wolves and my 2 cents (unworthy 2 cents of course ) quick and dirty!

There will obviously be a strange atmosphere, we wont have any fans and Wolves were so afraid because of Marinakis (who owns Olympiacos) being infected, that they asked for the game to be postponed! It will take place, still, a weird situation really.

Both teams looking good offensively and Wolves have scored in all their Europa League away matches. Olympiacos also looking good and especially at home, they can score against anyone and I dont see them turtling but actually be going for a good result!

Both teams to score at odds around 2 is a nice bet imo.

Uncommon for Europa League matches and in Greece, mostly, you just dont have visitors fans. Oh and go with BTTS here mate!

Ighalo delivery once again, proving he's worthy of been a united player as he opened the scoring for united as they netted five times to secure a win over LASK. His ball control and finish was superb. He scored at the 28 minute which means he has scored in all the game he started for united that's 4goals in three start.

His move to united has been a plus so I won't be surprised if it becomes a permanent deal in the summer, it'll be very shocking if it doesn't play out as we (Nigerians) are expecting. Haven't watched any United game since the departure of Ronaldo that isn't against top teams especially Chelsea, Liverpool and city but since the signing of Ighalo I have been a fan of united just to watch him play.
