Just came across this article stating that Converge is letting Jamal Franklin go. They will still pay the remainder of his contract, but they are moving forward to the playoffs without Jamal Franklin. I do not know who will replace him, but it is too near the playoffs, and they may not have the chemistry needed to win a series. Below is the link to the article.

Very unprofessional response to a valid instruction from the coach.
So I just thought that Franklin was doing that thing for the sake of his teammates, but it seems like I was wrong... or he was lying when he got interviewed.
TBH, I'm surprised that they will change import more than one week before the playoff starts. I wonder who will be the replacement import of the Converge, and how this will affect the chemistry of the whole team. It's just unprofessional that your coach said to make some adjustments thru share the ball, and you act like a baby, and took it personally. What a childish behavior he has. Very, very unprofessional of him. He's one of the elite scorers of the league this season, but he has this childish behavior, and he doesn't like to follow instructions from his coach. What a shame.
But budget-wise, a waste of money indeed if the supposed new import will just play one game as Converge will be in the do-or-die status in the quarterfinals and that might be against a top team, either Ginebra or San Miguel Beermen right away.
Let's at least be optimistic with Converge even though they are changing their import. I mean they are performing well at the start of the season, but they just suffered 3 straight losses in their 3 final games, but the team's still good overall. Just don't expect too much with the team, and let's see how they will perform with their new import.
