Nice analysis, but I'm thinking the opposite thing, Meralco beat them last game, they have the momentum now and yet they are given +5.5, I guess if I will bet now, I will bet on the + points as definitely Meralco will not just give this game away, they will play hard and try to upset the SMB.

If you want some expected boost and really think that Meralco might upset another SMC team, bet on live game and try to timing a risky spot where Meralco is behind by SMB with at least 10+ points. For sure, that line will improved to at least @7 but of course, it's risky.

But no pain, no gain. I'm sure those who risks on Meralco last game at the live bet is happy on their big win. I think only a few expect that Meralco will win on Game 6 as almost all the entire game, they are always behind.

It's a big choke if SMB will lose the Game 7. Expect a wide criticism for them if they will lose the series.

This isn't an old SMB team, they have some veterans but they don't have a good point guard and supporting cast like Santos. Well, let's just see the outcome of this game, if SMB will lose, it will be a big disappointment of the fans for sure.

Meralco still can't make a big run, 46-63, they need to play harder just to make the SMB lead down to a single digit.

They did not disappoint their fans as they dominate the entire game 7 though Meralco did tried to rally but time isn't on their side, SMB will be facing TNT in the finals, a great matchup as both really have solid lineup. It will be MVP vs SMB, a familiar company that really dominates the entire league. A battle between coaches and system that they will going to use. Both squad need to maximize their offense and defense, tough to find the advantage, just my personal take. TNT might use William's advantage while SMB will be using Fajardo's inside.

We never know what will be there in the finals, but I'm looking to see good competition between these two rival companies!

I’m honestly pretty surprised at how much discussion goes on in this thread. I have to be honest, I know next to nothing about this league so I want to ask, what is the appeal for you guys who do watch this league? Is this league compatible to the European league? Have there ever been any star players in this league who ended up going to the NBA ?

As a good fan of SMB I can say that a game 7 is really possible, though just like what you have said those guards are the edge of TNT but I think SMB do have enough defenders who can compete with those stars that TNT have, it's just a matter of how players will blend together inside the ring and how the coaches will bring in the right re-enforcement to give some rest to their stars.

Just a Local League. A classic league and the first official basketball league in Asia. Can't compare to the European league in general.

The reputation was already built since then that's why the PH community especially basketball enthusiasts follows the league.

We just used on watching PBA when we are growing up.

We have the passion but we don't have the built, most of the Filipino Basketball players like in the PBA are not really tall compared to the American and European players, and we all know that height is might, so we will really struggle against taller opponents.

It's going to be on Sunday Aug. 21 Kabayan, it would be a nice one to expect since both teams are trying to win these finals, I like to see how Fajardo and the rest of the SMB squad to compete against the dominating TNT, it's really something that fans will love seeing both teams will come up with good plays and hard defense. Still Fajardo as the main gun of SMB while TNT will use their advantage using all their guards and will continue to attack outside and run with the ball, a classic Chot Reyes system.

Well, just a meme here. let see what Choke Reyes will bring here before FIBA games maybe he will upgrade the dribble shot system and we will be able to witness that during the finals, I mean the execution of that play.
