Romeo will disrupt the chemistry that San Miguel has right now. Romeo did not play for a long time, and if he starts playing now, he will be disrupting the chemistry San Miguel has.

Romeo's play has a lot of iso hero ball which destroy the rotation of the ball. Maybe, they can play him for a few minutes first, to get the rust he accumulated on the sideline. That will give his teammates chance to get to upspeed on how he play and also give Romeo a chance to feel the game before the gets a lot of minutes again.

We are now in a crucial part of the conference but San Miguel needs win because they lost a lot when June Mar was out. In order to get that wins, they do not need anything that could disrupt their established play by inserting Romeo in the mix. Romeo will not be able to score a lot yet coming from a long vacation in basketball, so it is best he is given the least minutes for now. He can be full-time in the next conference. Not disrespecting Romeo, but it is what the team needs right now.

This is a crucial game for them and yes they have to beat Meralco and probably SMB is expecting a help from Romeo though for sure he will play with lesser minute in the court because he is still not 100%. As a fan of Romeo before, its good to see him back and its always good to see injured players rise again and play their sports again. With this, planning to have some bet with SMB if the odds is good.

Maybe there is a chemistry built between Romeo and Gallent whenever they are practicing. I don't know as well what Coach Leo means with that phrase "destroy the momentum between the two". Well either way, they already got a spot in the playoffs so putting his deputy coach on the driver seat and giving him an opportunity is also good for the team.

With regards to Romeo playing against Meralco, they already secured the 5th spot and will face Meralco regardless of what happen, so I think putting Romeo to the court to play for a few minutes doesn't hurt the team as a whole. They will just let him play a few minutes in preparation for him during the playoffs. Fajardo and Romeo's situation are completely different. I don't know if SMB has the weapons to beat Converge TBH because they are a strong team as well, but let's see how they will play.

I will agree with you on that one because SMB can't be underestimated in the playoffs since that's their favorite situation in the PBA season. Romeo will undoubtedly bring some energy and with JMF back in the lineup, he will be a big problem inside especially if he will be playing close to 100% soon.

SMB indeed win despite Fajardo and Romeo only played with limited minutes, JMF only contributed 9 points, so different compared to his usual numbers when he is 100% healthy. It's still a big win by SMB although it looks very controversial. 

The first half ended with SMB in the lead by 20 points and when I checked in the last minute of the game, that lead was eradicated by Meralco. 30 seconds left in the game and SMB was just leading by 3 points. I did not watch the second half so I was surprised to see that it was a close game in the end. SMB did not take good care of their lead and the win was almost snatched by Meralco.



That is his game. He is a volume shooter and if he gets lucky, those shots will fall. But if not, this is the result, a very low shooting percentage. He just got back in the game from a very long rest due to injury, it is expected that it will take some time before he gets back into good shooting form. The limited minutes are proof that SMB is slowly getting him back into the game. When his full minutes are back, we will see a better result from Romeo.

Whether it's a no bearing game or an important game, refs did really missed making the right call, so I understand why people are talking about that game. I don't know the point spread, but if that ball was given to Meralco, they have the last position to tie the game.

Anyway, that's over and we should not be surprise as this is PBA where miss calls happens. LOL

As expected with Romeo, he still finding his rhythm back and having 12 points for 16 minutes of playing was already a great contribution to the team. That miss calls always happened in PBA and I think they should review the quality of their referees, anyway SMB already secured a spot for the next spot and for sure they will work hard to advance into semis, now that Romeo and JMF is slowly getting better.

If they are serious about giving them a punishment, they should not forget that it should be added to their employee's files to see if they are really doing their job. We can understand if it happened a few times only but if it will happen many times, then we should question the credibility of the refs or worst the league itself.
