I haven't used coinbase in a long time, but they're a safe place to buy bitcoin from as long as you don't use it to gamble or do anything else that they deem wrong.  It would help to know what country you're in before recommending exchanges, because not all of them are available in all countries.

You might work out a deal on this forum in the currency exchange section, tho being a newbie you probably won't be able to do it with a reversible payment method.  It isn't exactly easy to buy bitcoin these days if you want to remain anonymous, so good luck if that's your goal.

I concur with these.  I've used both of them with good results, tho I've never purchased bitcoin for cash on either of them.

If your going for a quick and simple way, and don't care about your ID and giving away KYC documents, just use coinbase. They are easy to use for new customers.

If you are actually looking to trade and can be bothered to set up an account, go head to binance, huobi, kraken, kucoin, get verified there and then go ahead and start making fiat trades.

Or look at localbitcoins or paxful if you want to go the OTC, safer way.

Well , nothing is better than personally buying and selling bitcoins from people you know about.
Make a local community , and then you can go about it without paying extra free and giving good prices .
Also you could just make an account on loaclbitcoins.com and then get yourself verified on that , this way you could actually get to choose from a lot of people and a lot of ways .

This is a really good idea but sometimes it is very risky. Last year, in our country, some random people known by facebook went to deal like this. But the seller dumped the buyer badly, the buyer was injured too, it was just 1500 USD deal. So, I would not recommend to do it, buying from an exchange is easier and convenient. Face to face dealing means you have to spend some money their too, so, take it as a withdraw fee and exchange from the Binance or other easy platforms.

for now that in my opinion the safest place to buy bitcoin is a place of exchange such as binance, Huobi and Kucoin because I see that the four exchanges have very high trading volume and have very high security so it makes me really choose where to buy bitcoin and provide advice for you.
