You have to do it, don't expect to win first but try to finish just one piece.

I didn't even get any wins when I first entered the contest, but I kept trying and trying until now.

My tip for this art contest is to create a unique and interesting work that really fits the concept.

I'm not sure if I'm seeing this right, but it seems like only two people submitted entries for the craft category. So if you submitted for the craft category, you're definitely going to win because they choose four winner per category. So with only two submissions in the craft category, there was no competition and judges no need to choose from to determine the winner.

In this round of the contest (Olympics Theme), I might join again for the craft category so there's some competition. lol Last time, I submitted in craft (can't remember the them) and fortunately, I won 3rd IIRC. I didn't enter again because of lack of time and craft category really need much time to prepare compared to other categories.

If you don't have a talent for drawing, you can try other categories.

Yes it really takes a lot of time, not only making the work but thinking of a concept that really fits it is quite difficult, I even need about 1 week to think of a suitable concept and for the work (in the form of carving) it takes about 10-15 days for every detail that is done, but it will also take longer if there are ornaments that I need to carve like my last work on the theme of the "Summer Never Ends" contest.

Approaching the contest deadline is a great time to post your work. I will usually post the day before the time ends.
This allows each participant's original idea not to be imitated and will certainly be more unique.

Before I submit the final work, I first check whether it is suitable for posting or not, or if there is something that needs to be improved.
Everything has gone through the checks until the deadline, so when I deposit a day or a few hours before the time ends, everything is perfect.

But it's just a choice, depositing early or at the end doesn't matter, the important thing is not to pass the predetermined deadline.

The uniqueness of a work will indeed not be imitated even though the concept is the same, but it will be seen who is copying other people's work from the works posted. That would be a bad grade in my opinion.

Of course, it is difficult for me to calculate how to act correctly so that potential competitors, also participating in the competition, would not have time to steal ideas and manage to copy them and supplement or slightly change them so that later the jury would accept their work as an original. But somehow intuitively I think that it is precisely submitting your work 1 or 2 days before the deadline for submitting works to the competition that almost guarantees that the idea of ​​the work will not be stoleln. However, if competitors are now able to use AI to copy ideas, then even during this period they will probably already be able to make copies of the ideas of original works. Here, the countdown is probably already in hours until the deadline.

Everything is unpredictable since for longest time this competitions run for sure those people consistently joined know what to do. Also its great if you get an idea on what they have done then create more better artwork than them since provably that it will give you a higher chance to get selected to be on list of winners. Copying will not result to anything good and the person do that will just replicate those idea which doesn't have any assurance to win on that contest.

Also I guess much better for people to look at the previous art contest result so they could able to get an idea on what type of art or style the judge like since maybe from that they can get on idea what art to create.

Although everything is random but for sure it will make their experience became more exciting since with that they might get a lot of ideas to draw to submit more quality art piece for contest.

But it is curious how much AI has apparently seriously simplified the work of artists and how judges, in whose competence, as I think, no one doubts, especially considering how many art competitions in Roobet are already behind.
So how do judges evaluate the influence of methods of involving AI in the creativity of artists and how is the balance of ideas that a person himself came up with and various beautiful plots or ornaments created only with the help of AI evaluated.
