I spend a lot of my time observing the market even though I do not have much bitcoin, and I am very confident that it will penetrate a million dollars in the coming years.

The price of 1 BTC=$1M is McAfee's expectation and prediction, but I think it is impossible by the end of 2020. Even if BTC can reach $20k by the end of 2020, it is a success. It's too big for the whole market.

1 million dollars? everything can happen considering the development of bitcoin is very rapid but if possible don't expect to reach 1 million dollars.
It takes a very long time to arrive at that price but everything can still happen.....

Because Bitcoin is deflationary, it makes since that compared to a inflationary fiat currency, it should always increase in value.

The second thing that probably will happen is that the scarcity of Bitcoin will also make the value increase as demand increases.

These 2 factors mean that it should gain value over time with no limit to the value, so theoretically it should eventually reach $1M.

And what's your analysis behind that? we can easily say as enthusiasts that bitcoin will reach that height but we're living in the reality of this world. We have heard McAfee before and told that it's about $500,000 base on his numbers but sudden changed into $1,000,000.

Did you took his analysis and believed that it's possible? I'm not trying to be skeptic on this part and I would definitely love to see bitcoin hit $1,000,000 but if that happens, do you think that you still hold it or probably sold it when it goes $100,000 or at half?

Nothing is impossible, I used to doubt that bitcoin would reach 10K, but the fact is bitcoin is able to pass it easily, by the way what makes you believe that bitcoin can reach 1 million, give me a logical reason, because 1 million in my opinion is too high.

Might happen, we don't know. But in my opinion, it might not even hit a hundred thousand. As time progresses, the price is falling down. It is not that I am saying that it will die soon but what I am saying is that it might not reach the ATH in the near future. It might stay continuously low.

million dollars? I dont think it will happen , take a look if this things happen how much will be the transaction fee for everytime you will transfer bitcoin , 100$ ? Do you think someone want to hold a coin and pay 100 dollar for just fees.even small or large transactiob you need to pay for fees.

The McAfee million prediction is very much off the chart and though it can be possible that indeed BTC can be a million dollar digital asset maybe it can really be taking decades before it can hit that high. There are now so many factors at play that prevents BTC from jumping and pumping non-stop. We are talking here of regulations, lack of extreme speculations (akin to 2017), lack of massive adoption (resulting into many questioning the use-cases of BTC itself) and many small things all contributing to the current price of BTC. I would be so happy if this year BTC can be able to go back to the $20K level.

Million dollars huge for now,I think It's a dream now.Maybe in future it will be. But hoping million dollar with 1 or 2years is really dream.I am not bitcoin hater,I am bitcoin lover and holder (low amount).but Thinking million dollars in short time is not right.

Prices can reach millions of dollars if bitcoin has been mined. As long as it's still not being mined I think the price will only remain that range.
Once bitcoin is depleted mined it will be very difficult to get 0.5 bitcoin and therefore prices will skyrocket when demand is large and the amount of bitcoin is limited.

Why do you have that thought? I have yet to see any sign that Bitcoin's price has risen to $ 1 million. Maybe 50 years from now haha. $1m per bitcoin is still a dream we can say right now looking at how things and prices are going in bitcoin but I think we can come up to that price but will really take a seriously long time we are talking about more than 50 years for sure.

I do believe such price can be achieved but only maybe in 10 years or more if more than half of earths population starts using it on a regular basis daily life situation.

I wonder what could happen if all countries would adopt it.
In that case we would have a major implication at payment methods as a main currency to have (obligated?) therefore more people would buy it reaching that threshold.
