Bitcoin Outperforms Every Asset this Decade, Will 2020s Tell the Same Story?

Bitcoin has been named the best performing asset of the last ten years. A $1 investment at the start of the decade would have returned a colossal $90,000 if sold today.

The Bitcoin network was launched on January 3, 2009. On January 1, 2010, it had existed for a little under a year.

At that time, Bitcoin didnt have a monetary value since no trading venues existed and there hadnt been any real purchases with the digital asset to define its price.

Bitcoin was indeed dominating over other cryptocurrencies since the day it was born. It is why I think that in the next decade, there's a good chance that they will dominate once again because of the massive adoption of institutions, banks, etc., than any other cryptos out there.

I still regretted when I ignored Bitcoin years ago. You know how that feels, right? I mean, it's my fault that I didn't believe in Bitcoin because I didn't understand everything back then until I'm starting to get serious about it in 2017.

Hands down to Bitcoin as it outperforms any other asset like no other.

We have to think the positive side of bitcoin because when it has been launched in 2009 the price was nothing but now we can not imagine bitcoin price will be performing 20k, so we can understand that bitcoin and crypto will be going to change our future currency system what we have now and more countries are interesting adopting the blockchain technology, so we are still in the game to buy bitcoins and hold long term.

There could be different terms that could lead you to perform, but the possibility of earning using Bitcoin with trading is far better than any other asset. Maybe 2020 would be even better for it. We will see.

Me too, I missed the opportunity to invest in bitcoin from the beginning, which is my great regret. But right now, I still have a chance to invest in bitcoin and wait, maybe in a few years I will get my profits

maybe those who have bought and held bitcoin since 8 or 9 years ago, they already have a big profit now, deserves bitcoin to be the most profitable asset of the others because its value always increases every 4 years as I read from this forum, let's just look at 2020 if it will be a good year for the crypto community, given the halving bitcoin that many say is a bell where the whales will jack up the price of bitcoin afterwards, all the crypto communities hope that many next year will be brighter

Hopefully 2020 will tell the same story of 2017, there are a lot of anticipations towards 2020 and the btc price, people think that the btc halving will help to boost the price up, besides the bear market has lingered on for quite some time now that it feels the time has come for another rally, so fingers crossed.

Why are they still comparing apples and oranges until now? Don't you think it is an unfair comparison for the both of them being compared to pros and cons at the same time being in an entirely different market? Yeah sure Bitcoin has outperformed any kind of stock in the market we have no matter what country it is but if we talk about volaility alone and the traders' money they turned to dust I think the crypto market in general is leading the way and that is something we need to consider if bring this type of discussion all the time.

I regret not keeping myself up to the latest technologies innovations in the world. I didn't even knew about Bitcoin until it was quite big and articles were posted in the news outlets. If I would have seen its whitepaper ten years ago I'm sure I would have started mining myself. This is why information is so precious and the paradox is that it is FREE most of the times, we just need to know where to look for it. I agree that Bitcoin has a long way to go from here. The supply is so limited and we should all know what greed and human's fight for power can do.

Year 2020 will be still good for bitcoin to outperform again all other crypto currencies this is because of adoptions that until now is still unstoppable and more and more country recognize bitcoin although some are banned using this, bitcoin will still no 1.
So now if we don't want to regret again keep buying bitcoin every dip, and wait again for bitcoin bull run.

I know what it feels like when we've just ignored this precious digital asset that soon gave the investing economy a surprise of how much it surged and how much it was way back then. It feels bad when we are thinking of what we've been doing during those times when it's still at the cheapest but let's all move on and forget about that because it's important that we're already here.

Let this story gets continued. For the last ten years the success has happened as a result of people repeatedly making this active on the minds of common people who have just used bitcoin. In terms of dominance over other cryptocurrencies too it stays strong. Here the features available have let the community widen and get more and more usage. No doubt, 2020 will say a better story than the present years, because for several reasons 2020 is predicted to be a big year for Cryptocurrency.

It does outperform when looking in the numbers alone, but you had to also consider its future. An asset that is not backed by anything still a risky investment. And also to mention that it wasn't supposed to be used as an asset but rather a currency. The next decade, we might see more improvements especially in the Lightning Network, but still we need to acknowledge other reputable altcoins such as Ethereum and XRP that does also well in the market.

yes I also think that by 2020 bitcoin will also continue to outperform all investment assets. as said op currently there are more banks and companies that adopt blockchain and also some countries have also accepted bitcoin as a means of payment. and also in 2020 bitcoin will be reduced by half and most likely this will make the value of bitcoin pump so that I think 2020 bitcoin will be the most profitable investment asset.

For obvious reasons, we really don't know what's going to happen in the early days of bitcoin, 2009-2011 I would say should be the best years to just invest and hold on it tell 2017's bull run to make tons of money in this market. But we can't really bring the hands of time, it we believed that bitcoin can still dominate crypto in the next ten years then invest today so that in 2030, we will have our own story to tell.
