McAfee is an absolute tool.

Anybody who believes anything he says, or considers him to be some kind of industry expert should think again, because he's so out of touch with things it's insane.

Sure, smart contracts are ideal, but BTC is designed to be a transactional unit, not god damn gas for a smart contract platform—it's not ether!

With that said, there are plans to expand its smart contract functionality, and various side chains add smart contract functionality to BTC. Also, how on earth is he saying is has no security? it has the most proof-of-work of any blockchain in existence and is practically unhackable now.

I do agree it's clunky, but with the advent of lightning and other off-chain scaling solutions, Bitcoin will fullfill its purpose just fine.

Cash money has no functionality other than a store of value and a unit of transaction—and look how well that did!

This just shows that he is a man without a word. After giving prediction about the price of bitcoin, even making a promise but now his eating his own words instead of preparing how to eat his own dick, by saying Bitcoin is a shitcoin. He is just like any other people who likes getting attention. Though I don't really want to give my attention to John McAfee because it's obviously a waste of time. He's no worthy of our time.

This proves how untrustworthy this man is?that no words coming from His mouth must be believe in?just few months ago he predict bitcoin will Hit a million Bucks and will eat his p*nis if he fails,but recently late last year he also retract His prediction and posted this in twitter ,and now here we go again,Bitcoin is a Shitcoin?now for sure those who once Believe in him are now backing off and forgetting that once they believe what this stupid person says.

In a nutshell, John McAfee is the new CSW of 2020. Both of them just want us to get angry and negative about them so they can get on the news. I couldn't care less If all bitcointalk threads about them (including one of my own I admit) were nuked out of orbit tomorrow.

Is he drunk or what, after shilling coin and singing hallelujah now he is calling it a shitcoin, this guy made millions at the expense of Bitcoin than he did in anti-virus, now he is making a big turn around, worst time to pick the time when Bitcoin is gaining a huge momentum on the price, it's understandable if Bitcoin is going down, he is insane.

Some people will call this man a liar, but I think it would still be wiser to use the term manipulator. He has made a lot of money because it has attracted the attention of a lot of people who have no idea what Bitcoin is, pumping their dreams to unprecedented heights without any real basis. Then he started a costly charged announcement on his Twiter because it literally became popular overnight. On his statement of $1 million per BTC, he actually promoted a whole bunch of shitcoins - why are you wondering now that he turned the saw upside down.

While some wonder why he calls Bitcoin shitcoin, the reason is that he wants to get as much attention as possible again, this time with a completely reverse tactic.

The difference is that CSW is a delusional man while mcafee is acting like this to get all the attention and possibly manipulative to his audiences. Atleast with CSW you can see that he's outright lying once he couldn't prove what he stated while McAfee is kinda hard to know and always full of motive.

This guy is seeking so much attention and we keep giving it to him. John McAfee is two sided and we won't know which side he's on. Today may be his day to support ABC coin and when tomorrow comes, you see him supporting another coin.
This guy has made so many people lose money through hype & manipulation. He isn't the one that's gonna decide BTC movement, we are the market force that's going to drive price either sideways.

TBH I admire McCafé, he's kinda brilliant. He knows exactly what he wants (attention=>money) and gets it. Bitcoin might not go to the moon this year, but that I can't say about McAfee's private savings

After all the pumps he generated through his Twitter account, his motives are obvious. He's becoming irrelevant and he needs to get to the news headlines again so people won't forget him.

This is a man nobody should trust. If he says Bitcoin a shitcoin after literally pumping shitcoins, he's probably not even noticing his contradictory words.

It looks like a final attempt of him to become relevant and a huge manipulator of the markets. He most likely earned a lot by promoting shitcoins.
