I think that it's always good to promote Bitcoin.

However, I see a few problems in your logic.
1. People would buy Bitcoin mostly as investment or safety deposit, right? Well, since this virus madness has started people mostly withdrew money, didn't invest; and I don't expect this change much in the near future.
2. People are attracted to buy/invest into something when its price is rising. Of course, it's stupid since they may just buy into a new high and actually lose, but that's what people do. Now Bitcoin price is not looking good (on short term) so it may not be appealing to the masses.

All in all, if one manages to put in an ad that buying at such low price is a great deal (#BTFD, remember?) and also explain about the approaching halving too, it can worth a try. Else...


Then, unless one owns a business related to Bitcoin (exchange or whatever), he may not be interested to get money from his pocket to advertise/promote Bitcoin...

That's a vague concept of how to promote it in a period of fear. Being in quarantine doesn't mean people will suddenly become genius looking to forget about physical, bank cards already used to avoid the direct contacts.

I agree that most us are under lockdown or self quarantine but, that does not mean we are interested in investing now. People are dying everyday in thousands. They are more concerned in saving their lives and the loved ones. They will be more interested in saving their Fiat for using it in desperate situation. Considering the situation we are in now it can be easily called as desperate situation to survive. If we promote Bitcoin now it will give a negative image to it than positive.

bitcoin can solve covid-19 some problem - use digital money,fast transfer money to help other people,donate to help hospital

It is not that I'm against on it or I don't want to do it but you will never know what's in the mind of the people these days. As long as you'll explain to them the essentials of bitcoin and what actually it is, they will never get wrong understanding it.

Bitcoin doesn't need any promotion..Remember what happened in 2017? That massive bull run to the moon? There was no promotion back then, there were no marketing strategies planned to attract the average joe or anything like that, but there was a lot of word-of-mouth and social media + important news outlets talking about btc because they wanted to capitalize on what was the it thing to the general public and the financial world.

You are right this is one of the best time to promote Bitcoin, the world is on lockdown and a lot of people spend time online which means that promoting Bitcoin now will get it seen by even more people.

The only thing hindering me is that i don't spend time on social medias (except WhatsApp) which i can use in promoting Bitcoin online.

You have good thought but i don't think btc need any promote or advertising like your talking about. Cause btc is not a some shit ico/ieo project that need to promote cause it's already popular and part of financial world. And for the current situation i would love to say, promote those kinda thing which will aware people about COVID-19. Hole world is suffering and it'll be great if you try to make something about that.

I think like you, now while all the people are in their houses a lot of them will try to find a way to make money online and bitcoin is that opportunity they are searching for.

With people in their houses and halving one side of the corner, this should be a good moment to buy, we can feel the bump soon.
