Hello mk4! Try to see it from this direction.
1. A website can't be sent from one person to another
2. You need internet access to get information from websites
3. An app is pretty handy. (I do get my friends come around trying to share my apps through Xender).
1. Well, you can't send the website specifically, but you surely can send the URL.
2. I guess this is somewhat reasonable, as while they can save websites on their phones(manually through their browser or through apps like Pocket), having an app is a bit more convenient I guess. This is completely assuming that your app is going to be purely static though. If you're going to add or change information, you're going to need them to update the app anyway(and... that needs internet access).
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you liked the idea. Actually the app is still under development so, I intend to add more things maybe links to other sites, videos, quiz, etc. I'm glad I'm getting contributions from here.
Especially if you're going to add videos, man they're definitely going to need to access the internet, unless you'd let them download full-length videos stored locally into the app itself which could make the app's file-size
HUGE. Suddenly people are going to download like half a gigabyte of an app.
#mk4 I have to differ from you with this one, most people are more on their phones these days and it is easier if a App is used for this kind of education. The scrolling for a website on a mobile phone is a pain in the ass, so that is why I think a App is more suitable.

They can open websites on their phone though. As with the scrolling, that definitely doesn't have to do anything with an app vs a website. It's going to be completely depending on how the developer is going to design the UI side of the app/website. The scrolling will only be bad on a website if the responsiveness isn't polished.
P.S. I'm not trying to be an asshole or a kill-joy here just to be clear. I like your project, it's just that I'm just trying to give pointers on what sort of platform fits your project better, because I'm not that sold on needing an app for such project.
In the end, you do you. Best of luck!
